Awesome service and food
Super-tasty pupusas and not too expensive. Will definitely be back!
5 stars all around, me and my girlfriend love this place. Food is amazing, service is nice and efficient! Couldn’t complain about this place if I tried!
Delicious! I was able to order via pointing and nodding. Can't wait to eat some more papusas!!
Never had this kind of food before but I gotta say I was impressed. Very good.
Great authentic pupusas, fried chicken, refried black beans & other Latin food! The service and staff are great also! Everything tastes fresh and homemade!
Executive summary: Great food, kind service, and laid-back atmosphere. Warning: they only have one person who speaks English, so be prepared to either wait for her or point and smile. Honestly, these are always the best joints! When we pulled up and walked in, we were unsure about what to do... But there were a lot of people already sitting, so we just sat at a table. The first server that came up unfortunately did not speak English and we do not speak Spanish. Both my companion and I were fine with that and were prepared to just point at the menu, but another server who speaks English came and took over. We ordered Waters, which are just bottled water. We also ordered two appetizers: Yuca frita con pescaditos and pastellitos de pollo y papa. I've had the first before, so I had something to compare it to. It was absolutely delicious, and it was honestly the most crispy exterior and soft interior I've ever had on that dish. The second appetizer was new to both of us. It was also absolutely delicious with perfect textures. The slaw mixture that comes with both is a wonderful condiment (and is a common one based on my experience - but not everyone does it well. They do it very well). For our main courses, we ordered two pupusas (one revueltas and one loroco con queso), both of which I have experience with. Just like the last dish, this one was done better than any I've had in the past. (Loroco is a delicious green herb that I think is the national flower of El Salvador? Don't quote me on that. I'm working from poor memory and haven't googled it to confirm haha.) Our other main dish was La Parrillada (go big or go home). This was a giant dish with multiple meats, rice, beans, and a tomato salad. All of them were delicious, but I have to say that the star on this plate was really the rice and beans. We both loved the flavor of those two together, and the rice even by itself was absolutely delicious. The meats were all flavorful, but I would not recommend anyone who cannot eat well done meats to order this. These are very thin pieces of meat, so they cook quickly. Everything was delicious. Everyone was kind. They were also very busy, but we were in the minority of English speakers. Go try them out! But do not go if you require everyone to speak English. You may have to point and smile. But smile big because this place is absolutely delicious!
Today was our first time trying Salvadoran food and it was amazing. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely stop by again the next time I’m in Smyrna. Please give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed! Also, there were two gentlemen there that spoke English and were very helpful and patient.
